Do professionals in Saudi Arabia feel satisfied with their jobs?

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Many factors affect the happiness and well-being of professionals, including factors related to professional life, including personal influences such as physical health and work-life balance, in addition to factors related to the place of residence.

A survey titled “Happiness and Well-being in the MENA Region” highlights the most important of these factors. The survey took into account the opinions of professionals in Saudi Arabia, who had stated their opinions and aspirations.

Participants in the Kingdom identified 5 important factors that affect happiness in general: public safety and security (52%), job opportunities (51%), living a financially stable life (51%), low cost of living (39%), and a clean environment (air. , Water, streets, etc. (31%).

What do professionals think of their personal life?

According to the survey, the majority of respondents in Saudi Arabia are satisfied with their mental health (94%) and their physical health (43%), in addition to their family relationships (81%) and independence in making their personal decisions (76%).

Interestingly, about two-thirds of the participants expressed their satisfaction with their lives in general (63%), while only 25% expressed their dissatisfaction, and the rest of the participants were neutral about this.

Health-related factors constitute an important part of the happiness and well-being of the participants in Saudi Arabia, and it seems that a large percentage of the respondents are satisfied with their health condition in general, as 72% of them think it is good or excellent.

Are Professionals Satisfying With Their Career?

Career and work life can greatly affect employee happiness and satisfaction, and when asked how satisfied they are with factors related to career, they said they are satisfied with the balance between personal and professional life and with working hours (55%).

Other factors affecting participants’ satisfaction included support and appreciation from management, who stated that they are satisfied with the recognition they receive at work (53%) and the support they receive from colleagues (53%). 51% are satisfied with the freedom they have in making decisions.

What are the factors affecting satisfaction with the country of residence?

Participants in Saudi Arabia are satisfied with many factors related to their country of residence, most notably public safety and security (89%), availability of services, such as drinking water, electricity and fuel (81%), political stability (77%), in addition to the availability of healthcare facilities (74%). %).

Other factors included the possibility of maintaining good relationships with family and friends (74%), a clean environment including water, air, streets, etc. (73%), the availability of places of entertainment such as shopping centers and parks (71%), as well as the availability of educational institutions (68%).
