Head of the Executive Council of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hashem Safi al-Din, said that the possibility of a war with Israel exists, indicating that Tel Aviv is looking for another way to confront.
In an interview with the Lebanese “Al-Nour” radio, Safi El-Din explained: “The atmosphere is not ripe for a major war, except that the possibility of a war with Israel exists, and that is out of responsibility and not out of terror and panic among the people.”
He added, “Israel is looking for alternatives today in dealing with the resistance, and for another way to confront, and this is evidence of its failure.”
“We have said that we will not leave the Lebanese to starve, and we are still following this, and the plan we are working on is not born today, and it is based on cooperation and solidarity,” Safi al-Din added.
And he considered that “the American was disappointed and did not achieve his goal … We have said from the beginning that his sanctions will not bring weakness and weakness to Hezbollah.”
