French club Paris Saint-Germain announced that veteran Spanish star Sergio Ramos has suffered a new injury.
Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to face Clermont at the Parc des Princes, as part of the fifth round of the French League, without Ramos, who has not played a minute since his move to the team last summer.
Paris Saint-Germain said in a statement: “In the process of recovering for Ramos, a muscle discomfort appeared in his calf last week, and from next week he will resume his strong individual preparations on the field.”
The club added, “Colin Dagba, has resumed individual training, and will participate in group sessions with the group, starting next Monday.”
Regarding Marco Verratti, he said: “He has not yet recovered from his knee injury, and he is scheduled to return to training within 48 hours, as is the case for Juan Bernat, where he is still in the recovery stage from his injury.”
The statement indicated: “Levin Kurzawa continues his work to recover from the muscle injury he is suffering from, and Ismail Gharbi remains under care this week due to discomfort in the adductor muscle.”
