The Spanish Football Association announced in an official statement today, Thursday, that it had agreed with its Portuguese counterpart on a new date for their friendly match, which had been canceled earlier due to the Corona virus.
The match will be held on June 4 at the “La Cartuja” stadium in Seville, as part of the teams’ preparations for the European Nations Cup “Euro 2020”.
The match was scheduled for June 2020, but was canceled due to the emerging coronavirus pandemic.
The Spanish Football Association said in its statement that it hopes to set up another friendly match for its team before the start of “Euro 2020” next summer, and thus maintain the plans that were in place for 2020.
