Detectives are investigating after a seemingly healthy baby girl mysteriously died at a Brisbane home.
The five-month-old’s mother called police and paramedics to her unit in Annerly on November 16 at 8am.
Emergency crews found the infant dead at the scene, but the death was initially recorded as non-suspicious.
Now, a post-mortem report has indicated to police something more sinister may have taken place.

A 32-year-old woman who lived at the unit block is assisting police with their investigation, news.com.au reports.
The baby girl was last seen alive at Buranda shopping centre the evening before her body was found.
Detective Inspector Rod Watts on Sunday said she appeared ‘happy and healthy’ at the shops, and ‘something has happened’ between then and 8am the next day.
He refused to go into details about the medical evidence, but said police are treating the death as suspicious.
‘Something has happened to that child which is suspicious,’ he told reporters.
‘That child was happy and healthy one afternoon and the next day the child was deceased at home … this is not a natural death.’
Investigators urged anyone with information, particularly neighbours or relatives, to contact Crime Stoppers.
